In April 2024 we took on the beautiful Priory House, in Dudley, as our new home. This has allowed us to widen our reach through a range of community offers.
West Midlands Youth Theatre
WYMT was first established in 1999 by Michael Pike and Lesley Woodyer as part of the outreach offered by Wolverhampton Music School.
Now governed by Bedazzle, WMYT is ran by a team of arts and educational professionals who have mentored and supported many members over the years to go onto successful careers on stage, behind the scenes and in many other creative and media pursuits, which many say is down to the opportunities and training the youth theatre provided for them.
We currently meet during school holidays, staging a full scale musical production in each September, as well as performing other projects and fundraisers through the year at Priory House and out and about in the West Midlands.
In recent years we have seen Alumni of the group grace the West End stage in various roles and come back to offer their wisdom and insight to current members beginning their same journey. We always welcome new members from across the wider West Midlands to come and get involved on stage or off!
In September 2024 we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of WMYT with a one night special concert at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, where many members returned to perform some of our favourite highlights from the companies history. You can view the celebration brochure using the button below.

Home Ed Community
With more families choosing Home Education than ever before, we’ve responded by creating tailored opportunities that support creativity, connection, and learning for this growing community.
Every Monday, our Be Head SmART Arts Award classes provide a structured yet flexible space for Home Educated young people to explore creativity, develop new artistic skills, and work towards nationally recognised qualifications. These sessions are designed to nurture confidence and artistic expression across a range of disciplines, from visual arts to performance. For more information on our Art Classes please email: sarah@bedazzle.org.uk
We also host monthly Home Ed Social Meet-Ups, giving families a chance to connect, share ideas, and build friendships in a welcoming environment. We also run bespoke workshops throughout the year so learners can dive deeper into their interests while enjoying collaborative experiences. Whether you’re looking for regular classes or occasional enrichment, Bedazzle offers a vibrant hub for Home Ed families to learn and grow together.
